"There are no words that can tell the hidden spirit of the wilderness, that can reveal its mystery, its melancholy, and its charm."
- Theodore Roosevelt

If you have ever visited any of our National Parks, you understand the deeper meaning of the words of the late President Theodore Roosevelt. A symbiotic relationship between mother nature and human nature. However our actions directly affect the stability, accessibility, and preservation of our wildness areas.

A few weeks back Paul Schneider from Cinderlands Beer Co. sent Brando an article published in the New York times, "Are We Loving Our National Parks to Death?"  As they were discussing a collaboration brew together, it only made sense to include their love for backpacking and the beautiful natural areas of our National Parks. We decided to brew a NEIPA infused with Montana spruce tips using Paul's east coast technique of brewing IPA and Brando's experimental brewing nature of utilizing unique ingredients. Here at Werk Force we frequently use Amanda's photography for our labels and we selected a picture she took while she and Brandon were camping on the Wyoming side of the Grand Tetons as well as a photograph Paul took while backpacking Yosemite National Park in California.  Each photograph represents the pristine beauty and delicate nature of the wilderness of our National Parks. When discussing how we could have this beer make an impact on the fans of our breweries as well as show our support of wilderness areas, the name "Loved to Death" came to mind.  There is a fine balance in supporting and protecting our natural areas.

Loved to Death is a hazy juice bomb of an IPA with a resiny pine character that is a perfect blend of East Coast and West Coast IPA.  Strong notes of orange, tangerine and passion fruit with a lasting finish of rocky mountain pine needles.

From day one of our brewery opening, supporting and giving back to community has played a large role in Werk Force.  A portion of all tips in our taproom go back to charitable organizations.  As a part of the release of this beer, we will be donating $1000 to the National Parks Conservation Association - an independent, nonpartisan voice working to strengthen and protect America's National Parks.  We ask of everyone who drinks this beer, please take a moment and think about how we can help preserve America's most precious treasure  - our wilderness.

"I have three rules for leaders in the outdoors: You have to know where the people you're leading are coming from, you have to know what you want to do with them, and you have to love them."
