Tasting Notes: Dark Chocolate - Roasty - America
We decided to age this imperial stout in a single Wild Turkey bourbon barrel as we felt the name of the beer and the name of the barrel fit very well together. It pours a rich jet black color with tons of dark chocolate and roasty notes. Also one can't forget the subtle America undertones that define this beer. This is only the second time in four years that we have released this beer.

We took our imperial stout Sleepy Bear and did a single barrel variant which was aged in a Four Roses bourbon barrel. This super rich stout lends tons of dark roasted coffee, chocolate and caramel notes and finishes with the complexity of a fine bourbon.
